There will be an education forum this evening from 5:30 to 7 at Ward Warehouse, hosted by the Neil Abercrombie for Governor campaign. It should be a good opportunity to discuss education issues with representatives from the public school system, Hawaii Education Matters and the East-West Center — and with a gubernatorial candidate who has made education a sharp focus of his campaign. I plan to live-tweet the event. For background, consider reading our articles on Hawaii Student Achievement and Hawaii Education Accountability. Hope to see some of you there! And in the education discussion on our service.
