- Dole Foods announced a plan to fix three broken flood gates on Oahu’s North Shore. Residents are tired of loss and damage over the years, Hawaii News Now says.
- The University of Hawaii Board of Regents will debate whether to grant final approval to the billion-dollar Thirty Meter Telescope project.
- The Kauai Planning Commission has approved a 6,000-square-foot farm dwelling for a sod farm. We highlighted The Garden Island’s previous coverage last week.
- The Hawaii County Council fell one vote shy of putting a 2 percent land fund on the ballot in November. Voters will have a choice between 1 percent and nothing.
