Neil Abercrombie seemed to have a bounce in his step all day.
His primary day was long, but his spirits never seemed to flag.
Maybe it was the smiles. The smiles of an optimistic morning and the smiles of joy when the first results streamed in. Photojournalist John Hook was there to soak in the sights all the way from the morning to the emotional high of the evening on a stage in front of his supporters.
