Australian air carrier Qantas may soon make changes that could affect flight service to Hawaii. The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Qantas plans to ground some flights in the United States, including eliminating a route between New York and Los Angeles. 

Qantas subsidiary Jetstar flies to Honolulu, though it’s unclear whether routes to and from Hawaii would be affected. 

Reached by DC808 on Monday, a spokeswoman for Qantas could not immediately confirm the report, or discuss any potential changes to Honolulu flights. Read the full story from The Sydney Morning Herald.
