Is it just us, or does it seem like government bus tours are all the rage right now? U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan is planning a three-day bus tour through the Midwest next month.

He’ll visit Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois to talk about education and the economy.

“No other issue is more critical to our economy and our way of life than education,” said Duncan said in a statement issued by his office.

This year’s tour comes after Duncan’s visits to the Northeast and South last year. If he made it to Hawaii — no, probably not by bus — what would you want him to know about education and the economy in the Islands?
