Inouye’s With The Band

Sen. Daniel Inouye‘s influence extends beyond the U.S. Senate. Turns out, he can take some credit for contributions to punk music.

Inouye’s son, Kenny Inouye, was in the hardcore punk band Marginal Man in the 1980s. In an interview with Express Night Out, the younger Inouye says his father influenced him musically by introducing him to the Beatles, and by cheering him on at Marginal Man gigs.
