The entire 12-member congressional “super committee” is finalized. 

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Thursday selected her three appointees to the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction tasked with outlining $1.5 trillion in federal spending cuts by Thanksgiving. 

Pelosi tapped Reps. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., Chris Van Hollen, D-Md. and Xavier Becerra, D-Calif. Her selections come a day after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnel, R-Ky., and House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, announced their appointees.
