That’s the idea behind legislation that’s set to be introduced in the U.S. House, according to Free the Slaves Program Director Karen Stauss.
“Foreign recruiters would have to be registered with the Department of Labor,” Stauss told DC808. “(Employers) would go to one of those on this list. If there were any complaints, they could be removed from this list of recruiters.”
