Yesterday we wrote about the flurry of emails that Hawaii candidates have sent in recent days, asking for last-minute donations ahead of Friday’s campaign finance deadline.
Add former Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann to the list. Hannemann’s running in the 2nd Congressional District race. The seat will become vacant since its current occupant, Rep. Mazie Hirono, is running for U.S. Senate.
“Just as every vote counts, so does every dollar donated to our campaign,” Hannemann wrote.
