Hawaii Senators Help Confirm Judge

Senators voted 96 – 2 to confirm the nomination of Bernice Donald to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday evening. Read more about Donald from the White House. 

The confirmation is a step forward for the Obama administration, which is still waiting for a slew of judicial nominations to be advanced. 

Both Sens. Daniel Inouye and Daniel Akaka were among those who approved the nomination.
