The Marine Corps is consolidating Pacific region leadership under a single command in Okinawa this week, according to the military affairs newspaper Stars and Stripes.
The newly created headquarters will merge facilities throughout Hawaii, South Korea and Japan under Maj. Gen. Peter Talleri‘s command, the newspaper reported.
