Sen. Daniel Inouye is meeting with a fellow Medal of Honor recipient this afternoon, according to a portion of his schedule released by a spokesman. Inouye is set to meet with Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry in about 15 minutes.

Earlier today, Inouye met with Lt. Gen. Francis Wiercinski, commander of the U.S. Army Pacific. He also met with Wes Bush, the CEO of defense contractor Northrop Grumman, along with two other top officials with the company.

Later today, Inouye is slated to meet with officials from the Italian-owned aerospace company Alenia North America

This evening, Inouye and other members of the Hawaii congressional delegation will attend a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.
