Rep. Colleen Hanabusa was optimistic about what she heard from President Barack Obama tonight. She also wants to hear more of the details he promised to provide next week. We caught up with the congresswoman after listening in on Obama’s speech at the U.S. Capitol Thursday night.

One observation Hanabusa shared with DC808: The president seems focused on helping veterans, teachers and the unemployed. Here’s Hanabusa reviewing a print-out of the president’s speech:

We’ll have more from our conversation with Hanabusa in Civil Beat’s complete coverage of Obama’s jobs speech.
