Akaka Staffer Takes SolarCity Job

Sen. Daniel Akaka‘s office announced on Wednesday that the senator’s communications director, Jon Yoshimura, is taking a job with Honolulu-based energy company SolarCity. 

Akaka’s deputy communications director, Jesse Broder Van Dyke, will replace Yoshimura as of Nov. 1. Akaka is not seeking re-election in 2012.
