Only nine percent of adults polled in the United States said they approve of how Congress is doing, according to a new CBS/New York Times poll. 

That’s a record-low, and the worst approval rating that the news organizations have seen in more than three decades of polling.

A new Civil Beat poll found that Hawaii voters are similarly disgusted with Congress, with only 10 percent of Hawaii voters reporting that they generally approve of the performance of Congress during the past year, 76 percent holding a negative view and 14 percent unsure.
