Gov to Testify at Akaka Hearing
Gov. Neil Abercrombie is among those signed up to testify at a field hearing that Sen. Daniel Akaka is holding on Oahu on Thursday.
The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs oversight subcommittee hearing is focused on “Safeguarding Hawaii’s Ecosystem and Agriculture Against Invasive Species.”
Additional witnesses include Sen. Clarence Nishihara, Rep. Clifton Tsuji and other officials, according to a press release issued by Akaka’s office.
