Hirono Campaign Asks For $5

Rep. Mazie Hirono’s campaign emailed supporters on Tuesday, asking for help sending former Gov. Linda Lingle “a message” about Hirono’s grassroots support. 

“I’ve got something even better than Lingle’s corporate-backed funders,” Hirono wrote. “I’ve got you.”

Hirono requested donations of $5 to “show Linda Lingle just what she’s up against.” Lingle announced earlier today that she is running for the same U.S. Senate seat that Hirono is seeking.
