Former Gov. Linda Lingle announced her U.S. Senate candidacy last week, and her official statement of candidacy has been filed. 

A staffer in the Senate Public Records office confirmed to DC808 that Lingle’s paperwork is in. He also pointed out that because she announced her bid for Senate just days after the end of the most recent three-month campaign finance period ended, her first report of donations — due at the end of the year — is likely to be “supersized.”
