After unanimously passing in the U.S. House on Tuesday, the APEC Business Travel Act is now awaiting Senate approval.
The measure would make it easier for government and business leaders from APEC’s 21 member economies to travel to fellow APEC member countries.
The act was introduced by Sens. Daniel Inouye and Daniel Akaka, along with Washington Democrat Sen. Maria Cantwell.
