Those who congregated to express their disgust with the government and the “corporate machine” did so peacefully in Washington on Sunday, where dozens of protestors set up tents and held signs in Freedom Plaza. 

The Occupy Wall Street movement started in New York last month, and has since spread as far as Hawaii (read a related story). Here are some of the photos that DC808 snapped in Washington:

The Washington Post reported that protestors only had National Park Service permits through Sunday.
