Hirono on the Big Island Wednesday

Rep. Mazie Hirono is set to tour the Big Island on Wednesday, according to a spokesman. Here’s what’s on her agenda: 

• Meeting with rancher and saddle-maker David Fuertes to discuss farming.

• Talk story with vendors and shoppers at the Kailua Kona Farmers Market.

• Visit with small businesses affected by the March tsunami. 

• Meet with volunteers and guests at the Thanksgiving dinner presented by the Kona Task Force on Feeding the Hungry.
