Sen. Daniel Inouye attended a Congressional Gold Medal ceremony in honor of the first American astronaut to orbit the Earth, as well as the crew that landed on the moon in 1969, on Wednesday.
Astronauts John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins accepted the medals.
