First lady Michelle Obama will join her husband, President Barack Obama, at APEC in Honolulu next week. Here’s a look at what the first lady has on her agenda: 

Saturday, Nov. 12: Michelle Obama will tour Ma‘o Farms in Waianae. Ed Kenney, chef of Town restaurant in Kaimuki, will join her.

Sunday, Nov. 13: The first lady will host a special event for APEC leaders’ spouses at Kualoa Ranch. Guests will be treated to a lunch prepared using local foods by Kenney, and a performance by the Honolulu Boys Choir.

Monday, Nov. 14: Michelle Obama will meet with military families, and speak at a “hiring fair” for service men and women sponsored at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at the joint Pearl Harbor-Hickam base.
