Here’s some of what Sen. Daniel Akaka is up to on Tuesday, according to a spokesman:

The senator is starting the day with a Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs meeting. The focus of the hearing is oversight of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. 

Later, during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing, Akaka is set to hear testimony from Roslyn Mazer, who is nominated to be inspector general.
