Remember the tiff between Hawaii Rep. Kymberly Pine and Ewa-based Web designer Eric Ryan over control of her campaign website?

Now, Pine wants to tighten some cyber laws, seemingly to make sure those kinds of things can’t happen again. From an email to constituents posted on Hawaii Free Press:

We must work to strengthen computer fraud laws to make them as strong as identify theft statutes, increase penalties for unauthorized computer access use, require local and out-of-state internet service providers to comply with Hawaii law enforcement and explore the idea of licensing web designers.
