APEC senior officials gathered in St. Petersburg this week to set their priorities for 2012 — boosting growth in trade and investment in Asia-Pacific. Sounds familiar.

The average temperature for Vladivostock in November, where the leaders’ meeting will be held, is around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Tough place to be homeless.
