Berg To Hold First Re-Election Fundraiser

Honolulu City Council member Tom Berg will hold his first re-election fundraiser in February, according to a new filing with the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission.

The event, according to the filing, is set for Feb. 23 at the Platinum Lounge at Aloha Tower. Berg’s asking for $50 per head.

Berg’s seat is among five on the Council up for re-election in 2012. Former Hawaii Rep. Alex Santiago has already said he’s going to challenge Berg, and others have been rumored.
