Following Maui and Kauai’s lead, the Big Island today voted to ban plastic bags. That means businesses can’t give customers plastic bags anymore.

That leaves Honolulu as the odd man out — the only Hawaii county left that hasn’t adopted its own eco-friendly bag ban. Think we ought to follow suit?
