Staff for the state House of Representatives have today (Friday) off, but they’re working next Friday, Dec. 30. Senate staff, meanwhile, have been given a half-day’s leave today and Dec. 30.

“Each Senator has the discretion of granting administrative leave to his or her own staff,” Senate President Shan Tsutsui said in a Dec. 21 memo. “Merry Christmas to you and your families and best wishes in the coming new year.”
