News that a third monk seal has been found dead on Molokai is stirring up conversation on Civil Beat’s website. 

This from Molokai resident, Curtis Crabbe:

Lotsa seals on Molokai……………..too much, make big holes in the nets, take away from the fish we eat for dinner? IDEA: catch and release, to Oahu……where there is NO fish…….theyll be back to Molokai is a second…..that is the reason the population is HIGH on Molokai, lotsa fish………..make plenty babies! Figure that ?
