Rep. Colleen Hanabusa is in New Jersey on Friday, according to a Twitter post:

Hanabusa is a member of the House Armed Services Committee’s recently formed Defense Business Panel. One of the panel’s goals is to explore the obstacles that small businesses face when bidding for military contracts.

A spokeswoman for Hanabusa said that after meeting with local business leaders at Burlington County College in Pemberton, N.J., the panel was scheduled to visit Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, then tour the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center.

Hanabusa has traveled with the panel in the past. In October, she visited the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois. The arsenal is the largest government-owned weapons manufacturing arsenal in the country.
