Rep. Colleen Hanabusa said she’s optimistic now that the House appears poised to approve a two-month extension to a payroll tax cut for 160 million American workers.

“We have two months to work on a year-long fix, and I am confident we can accomplish that,” Hanabusa said in a statement. “I hope we can do it without repeating this shibai.”
