High Surf Advisory — but Eddie Unlikely

It’s that time of year. A high surf advisory has been issued for north and west shores of Niihau, Kauai and Oahu.

Forecasters say the surf will rise throughout the day and peak this afternoon at levels approaching High Surf Warning sizes.

Forecasters say North 18-22 feet and West 12-18 feet. But don’t get your hopes up for the Eddie. The swell is NOT expected to be big enough for the contest.
