A lengthy New York Times article published on Wednesday focused mostly on former Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle, who is running for U.S. Senate.
The headline of the piece, which included material from an interview with Lingle: “For Democrats in Hawaii, Unease in an Oasis.”
While the newspaper also reportedly spoke to Senate candidates Ed Case and Rep. Mazie Hirono for the story, it repeatedly mistakenly referred to Hirono as “Ms. Mazie.”
