Kauai Schools To Save Greenbacks by Going Green

Public schools on Kauai hope to save the state millions in utility bills with a new solar power initiative.

Gov. Neil Abercrombie and Department of Education Superintendent Kathryn will explain more in an official announcement Tuesday, with officials from Hawaii Pacific Solar and the Kauai Island Utility Cooperative.
