More Lingle Buzz: Hawaii Makes Another GOP Short List

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, provided the Wall Street Journal with a list of states that he believes Republicans can realistically hope to win in order to regain Senate control. 

Among them: Hawaii, where Cornyn says he believes former Gov. Linda Lingle has a “real shot” at scooping up the Senate seat that Sen. Daniel Akaka is vacating.

Other states that Cornyn listed include Wisconsin, Missouri, Ohio, New Mexico, Nebraska, Montana and Virginia.
