Needy Families Get Christmas Trees

Blue Planet Foundation, COSTCO and LOKAHI Giving Project have teamed up to provide 350 needy families with Christmas trees. 

And of course the Christmas trees will be energy efficient, in accordance with Blue Planet’s mission to rid the world of the use of fossil fuels. 

The nonprofit foundation has donated 60 boxes of high-efficiency LED Christmas lights and recycled incandescent bulb ornaments made by local students, according to a Blue Planet press release.
