Despite the dicey weather we’ve been having, President Barack Obama spent part of Christmas Eve golfing at Marine Corps Base in Kaneohe. The president left his rental house in Kailua at 11:32 a.m., according to pool reports. The sun shining as his motorcade made its way to the course.

Familiar names rounded out the president’s golf party: Eric Whitaker, Mike Ramos, Greg Orme, Bobby Titcomb, Sam Kass, and Marvin Nicholson.

Whitaker is an old friend from Chicago. Ramos, Orme, and Titcomb are friends from Hawaii. Kass and Nicholson are White House staffers.
