The First Family spent three hours at the famed eatery, not leaving until 11 p.m. last night (Wednesday).

This White House pool report comes from Carol Lee of The Wall Street Journal and CNN’s Peter Morris:

The Obama party is ordering off a special tasting menu tonight. The usual 5 or 7 course tasting menu normally offered to regular diners is not being offered tonight due to demands on the kitchen.

I have not been able to determine what exactly the are eating, but one appetizer – a sample of three butters from 3 local dairys.

The Obama party had a special 5-course tasting menu for $75 a person, $105 per person with wine pairings for each course. highlights include “Sassey Salad” and bacon wrapped pork loin.

Diners have been trying to takes pictures of POTUS, only to be chased off by advance staffers.
