Three different members of the Occupy Honolulu protest movement just contacted Inside Honolulu in the last 15 minutes to share the news that police officers are down at Thomas Square and have warned that anyone in the park at 10 p.m. will be removed.
The eviction comes hours after the city announced it completed a survey determining that the tents on the concrete in the northwest corner of the square, at the corner of Beretania and Ward, are in the park and not on the sidewalk.
Sanjeev Ranabhat will be covering the eviction for Civil Beat tonight.
