With the fate of the payroll tax break still in limbo, CNN Money has put out a helpful graph (below) showing how your wallet will be impacted if Congress doesn’t agree to extend the tax holiday.

Thanks to the tax cut, employees only paid 4.2 percent of their first $106,800 in wages into Social Security this year, in lieu of the normal 6.2 percent, CNN Money reports.
