Sen. Daniel Akaka will attend an executive session of the Banking Committee on Tuesday, according to a spokesman. 

Members will vote on three nominations: Maurice Jones as deputy secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); Carol Galante as HUD’s assistant secretary; and Thomas Hoenig as vice chairman of the FDIC board of directors. 

After voting, the committee is set to meet for an oversight hearing on the Federal Housing Finance Agency, according to Akaka’s office.
