Sen. Daniel Inouye has told his Pearl Harbor story over and over again: He was a teenager getting ready for church when he heard a radio broadcaster begin screaming the news of the attack over the airwaves on that sunny Sunday morning 70 years ago.
The website Poynter notes that it was via the radio — not newspapers — that many first learned of the attack.
