Star-Advertiser Error Sets Off First-Dog Confusion

The Star-Advertiser incorrectly reported that the Obamas’ dog, Bo, arrived in Hawaii with Michelle Obama and her daughters on Monday. 

So when President Barack Obama was out Christmas shopping with Bo in Virginia on Wednesday, the ever-sophisticated Internet was abuzz up with questions about the pooch: Does Bo have a travel double? Is the White House using taxpayer dollars to fly him back and forth between Hawaii and Washington for photo opps?

The White House has yet to dignify these hard-hitting questions with a response.
