Christmas is Sunday, which means some folks miss out on the treat that is a day off from work. But many others are getting Monday off to make up for it.
The City and County of Honolulu is one of those generous employers.
From a city press release:
City government offices will be closed Monday, December 26, 2011, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Other City facilities that are usually open on the weekend will observe the holiday on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25, 2011.
Civil Beat will also be closed Monday, so Inside Honolulu updates will be sporadic. Please plan accordingly.
