The former special events coordinator who recently resigned from the Carlisle administration rather than face the music for hundreds of alleged ethics violations is now working for Honolulu City Council member Tom Berg.

Our partners at KITV had the scoop last night:

Berg, who offered Patty Teruya a job on his staff before the full details of the Honolulu Ethics Commission investigation came to light, said he’s not sure if he’s going to keep her or let her go.

“I believe it’s up to the community. I think if the community wants to have her on board, I’m listening. If the community says ‘it’s not good at this time,’ I’m listening. The decision is not mine myself to make,” Berg told KITV.
