For those who are still sore about the Honolulu City Council‘s decision last month to remove the genetically-modified-food-labeling bill from the counties’ legislative package, Tom Berg is still listening.

Berg introduced a new resolution this year that would require signage near GMO foods in grocery stores. And now he’s going to hold a town hall meeting at an organic farm to press the issue further.

He announced the event in his newsletter Monday. It’s scheduled for March 2 at Kahumana Organic Farm and Cafe in Waianae.

This is how he describes the upcoming discussion:

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHAT IS IN YOUR FOOD

ORGANIC FOOD VERSUS GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISMS (GMO)

SHOULD FOOD WE BUY BE LABELED IF IT CONTAINS GMO’S?

THE ROLE OF AGRICULTURE & THE ECONOMY
