Faith Action for Community Equity (FACE) just announced it has asked to intervene in the federal lawsuit against rail — and the community organization is siding with the government.

“Further delays to the rail project do not serve the public interest,” Rev. Bob Nakata, former president of FACE Oahu, said in a press release. “We are hoping that the judge will allow us to intervene in order to ensure that the interests of low income and working people are included in the ongoing dispute.”
