The Lingle campaign announced on Wednesday that the former governor raised nearly $1.8 million last quarter. Hirono raised $624,363 in that time.
Case said he’s still working on his campaign finance paperwork, which is due to the Federal Election Commission at the end of the month. Case also said his campaign is on track and that it raised “what we need.”
“That’s the whole problem with DC today: all they care about is who can rake in the most money, who they can control, and not who can get the job done,” Case said. “If it’s just about another Senator bought and paid for before she’s sworn in, we’ll never fix our problems.”
