Mayor Peter Carlisle is in Washington today, so Managing Director Doug Chin will be representing the city at an informational briefing hosted by the Senate’s Ways and Means Committee and the House’s Finance Committee.
The 2 p.m. hearing in Conference Room 309 at the Capitol is part of the money committees’ ongoing series as they prepare to work on the state’s budget.
Chin will be joined by Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa, Kauai Mayor Bernard Carvalho and Big Island Managing Director William Takaba.
No public testimony will be accepted.
